Documents required :

ADDRESS document (photocopy of any one of the following) :

  1. Ration Card/Voter’s Identity Card
  2. Driving License/Passport (to include page containing date of expiry)
  3. Telephone/Electricity Bill/Society Maintenance Receipt (Latest copy – not more than 2 months old)
  4. Registered Leave – N – License/Purchase Agreement
(Address should match with the address in the account opening form)

IDENTITY document (photocopy of any one of the following) :

  1. Passport/Driving License (to include page containing date of expiry)
  2. Voter’s Identity Card/PAN Card
  3. Aadhar Card.
  4. Identity Card/Photo Identity issued by Central/State Government/PSUs/Scheduled Banks/Professional bodies (such as ICWAI,ICAI,Bar Councils etc) to their members/employees

Proprietorship Account (additional requirements) :

  1. License issued under Bombay Shop & Establishment Act &/or any other relevant proof of business.

Partnership Account (additional requirements) :

  1. Partnership Deed
  2. Partnership Registration Certificate
  3. Power of Attorney given to partner or employee of the firm to operate account on behalf of partners.
  4. Telephone/Electricity Bill in the name of the firm – latest copy.
  5. Copy of Birth Certificate (if partner is minor)

Company Account (In addition to the requirements as stated in point no. I & II for all directors or officials authorized to operate the account)

  1. Certificate of Incorporation/Commencement Certificate
  2. Memorandum and Articles of Association
  3. Certificate of Commencement of Business (in case of Public Limited Company)
  4. Resolution from Board of Directors to open the account (format available with the bank).
  5. Power of Attorney (if any, granted to any official to operate the account on their behalf)
  6. Telephone/Electricity Bill (in the name of the company latest copy)
  7. PAN No.

Trust Account (In addition to the requirements as stated in point no. I & II for all directors or officials authorized to operate the account)

  1. Copy of Registration Certificate & Trust Deed.
  2. Resolution from Trustee’s (to open account, signed by the authorized trustees).
  3. Power of Attorney. (if any granted to Officials to operate the account)
